We abide by H3 formula of success: Humility, Honesty and Hard work
Caliber was started by a husband and wife team. It all started when Neerja and Navneet Anand visited Mother Theresa’s orphanage in Tanzania in 2018. They witnessed the challenges that disabled and autistic kids face on a daily basis. After that, they were determined to dedicate their lives to the cause of children and their mental health. Throughout the years, they have fostered children from different parts of the world by donating resources for their health, safety, and happiness.
Caliber Autism LLC aims to be a world-class leader with the purpose of bringing a marked difference in the lives of those we serve. Our purpose is to serve individuals and their families from the time of diagnosis through adulthood with optimal care and sustain the integration of skills into their natural environment.
Autism testing involves assessments by healthcare professionals to diagnose or rule out autism spectrum disorders (ASD). Autism is a neurodevelopmental condition marked by social challenges, communication difficulties, and repetitive behaviors. Testing helps identify these behaviors and determine if they meet the criteria for an autism diagnosis.
Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is considered an evidence-based best practice treatment by the US Surgeon General and by the American Psychological Association. ABA is a therapeutic approach that focuses on modifying socially significant behaviors. Through the systematic use of the principles of behavior, functional and adaptive skills are increased, while maladaptive or undesirable behaviors are decreased. Research has shown that ABA therapy is an effective treatment for children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder, as well as other comorbid developmental disorders.
CAC is committed to implementing a customized and effective program to increase functional skills as well as reduce any maladaptive behaviors in individuals afflicted with an Autism Spectrum Disorder. As every person with an Autism Spectrum Disorder is unique in his/her own way, the treatment plan is similarly specially designed to cater to the needs of the person concerned. The plan is developed and overseen by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). A Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) will be assigned to the client who will deliver the one-on-one therapy or group therapy as per the protocol designed.
The key to our success is the active participation of the family. To this end, The family of the client will have access to a comprehensive portal where assessment reports, session notes, and schedules can be easily viewed. CAC is committed to having such information readily available and accessible.
Asperger's Syndrome is a milder form of autism & is the second most common ASD. It is a condition on the autism spectrum with general higher functioning characterized by significant difficulties in social interaction and nonverbal communication, along with confined and repetitive patterns of behavior and interests.
Currently, there is no cure or medication for Autism Spectrum Disorder. But some medicines can help with its related symptoms like insomnia, depression, seizures, etc. You must combine the medication with behavioral therapies to make it more effective.
Children with autism are not interested in social interaction. They often have desire to interact with others but have challenges with communication and social skills. Speech-language pathologists, or SLPs, can help you in this.
Sensory issues often accompany autism. These may include difficulty with balance and coordination, screaming or being overly aggressive, easily distracted, difficulty in learning, jumping up and down frequently, etc.
