The puzzle piece represented an antiquated view in the autistic community. This original representation was created to represent something “missing” from an individual with autism. Caliber Autism Care recognized that the symbol needs to be replaced by a more inclusive and diverse representation of the community. In order to acknowledge and remain progressive in our practices, Caliber Autism Care has changed our logo to represent emerging viewpoints and perspectives that are more inclusive and meaningful to the individuals we serve.
In order to honor neurodiversity, we at Caliber Autism Care has removed the puzzle piece symbol from our logo and replaced it with the multi-colored infinity symbol to remain current with autistic culture. Individuals with autism have infinite potential with understanding, care, and proper therapies. Caliber understands this and has interventions with an emphasis on improving the quality of life in opposition to imitating the behaviors of neurotypical peers. We not only want to acknowledge the autistic community but teach acceptance of the natural expressions of the human genome. Please help Caliber Autism Care by welcoming our new logo that represents the continued progression of Autism therapy as we move forward!
